A hurricane voice tearing through my soul
Echoes so loud they left me cold.
“You should know that” was their twisted refrain
But when I asked their silence remained.
They dangled a key said “One word will do”But no answer came just more to undo.
But their chaos doesn’t define my name
Their shadow won’t carry my blame.
I wore the guilt like a heavy chain
But let me tell you it’s not my pain.

It’s not your fault they crossed the line
It’s not your fault they blurred the signs.
You stood your ground you tried to stay true
But their brokenness was never about you.
It’s not your fault it never was
You’re not the reason for their loss.

They asked “What would you do if I ever betrayed?”
I said “I’d leave no doubt no charade.”
Yet when the truth came they twisted my mind
Saying “I thought you wouldn’t care you’d leave it behind.”
They played the victim they cast me as cruel
When all along I’d followed their rules.

Their gaslight flickers their mirrors crack
I see the truth—they can’t take it back.
I’m stronger now I know the deal
The fault they gave was never real.

It’s not your fault they crossed the line
It’s not your fault they blurred the signs.
You stood your ground you tried to stay true
But their brokenness was never about you.
It’s not your fault it never was
You’re not the reason for their loss.

I started to rise I started to see
The lies they used to imprison me.
“Where’s all this coming from?” they cried
But the truth was one they couldn’t hide.
My scars are proof that I survived
Their shadows won’t dim the light inside.

You’re not a punching bag for their rage
Not a scapegoat for their bitter cage.
You tried to fix what they’d refuse
But their destruction was theirs to choose.

It’s not your fault they crossed the line
It’s not your fault they blurred the signs.
You stood your ground you tried to stay true
But their brokenness was never about you.
It’s not your fault it never was
You’re not the reason for their loss.

The screaming’s over the storm has passed
You’ve found your strength you’re free at last.
It’s not your fault—you’re rising anew
Breaking free from what they did to you.
